How information is used
CueSift uses this information to authenticate users, inspect submitted links, create and save subtitle tasks, provide exports, measure usage, support users, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use private subtitle content for targeted advertising.
Service providers and video platforms
A task may require requests to the source video platform, hosting and storage providers, authentication providers, speech-transcription providers, and payment providers. They process only the information needed for their role and are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Account and task data is retained while an account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal or accounting duties. Temporary media or processing artifacts are removed when no longer needed for a task. Users can request account or subtitle deletion by contacting support.
Security and user choices
CueSift uses access controls, secure transport, and limited data access designed to protect stored information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Depending on local law, users may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal information.
